There is a place where silence is not an absence, but a presence. Where nature is not a backdrop, but a living companion, and where one steps out, almost imperceptibly, from the noise of everyday life. A space permeated by peace, beauty, and a quality that is hard to define, yet deeply felt—as if the place itself remembers how to exist slowly and mindfully.
It is home to the world’s largest singing bowl, surrounded by a meticulously crafted Buddhist garden. This space is not a spectacle, but a calling. It is for those who feel that inner peace is not a goal to be achieved, but a state to be recalled—one that requires time, silence, and a safe, nurturing presence.

This three-day retreat offers the opportunity to step out of your accustomed roles and return to that inner point where attention becomes clear, perception deepens, and new spaces open behind your thoughts. The vibrations of the sound baths do not explain; they align. The meditations and rituals do not seek to direct, but to accompany you. And the rhythm of nature reminds us that settling into silence is not passivity, but one of the most powerful inner movements.
These three days are not a detachment from the world, but a subtle reconnection with yourself, with others, and with that deeper intelligence that has always been within you. If you feel it is time to pause, to breathe, and to give space to what truly nourishes, then this retreat is for you.
MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL BENEFITS
NATURAL STRESS RELIEF
After as little as 2–3 days, the level of stress hormones (especially cortisol) can measurably decrease, accompanied by the normalization of blood pressure and the calming of the nervous system.
DIGITAL DETOX
Disconnecting from constant online presence helps dissolve cognitive overload. Attention becomes whole once more, thoughts slow down, and inner silence becomes accessible again.
MENTAL CLARITY AND FOCUS
With the reduction of external stimuli, the "mental fog" gradually dissipates. It becomes easier to gain perspective on life situations, decisions, and blockages.
EMOTIONAL RELEASE
The safe, structured environment provides an opportunity to process repressed emotions, to emerge from burnout, and to restore inner balance.
PHYSICAL AND LIFESTYLE EFFECTS
DETOXIFICATION AND IMPROVED CIRCULATION
Mindful nutrition, movement (yoga, walks), and sound vibrations together support the body’s natural cleansing processes.
IMPROVED SLEEP QUALITY
The absence of blue light, tranquil evening programs, and deep relaxation facilitate falling asleep and lead to more restful sleep.
IMMUNE SYSTEM SUPPORT
Time spent in nature—especially forest bathing—has a proven positive impact on immune functions and cellular regeneration.
BUILDING NEW HEALTHY HABITS
Three days are enough to establish simple yet effective routines, such as morning silence, mindful eating, or regular relaxation—these can be taken home into daily life.

THE EFFECTS OF SINGING BOWL TREATMENTS
Singing bowl therapy, also known as sound healing or Tibetan singing bowl therapy, uses metal or crystal bowls that produce rich, harmonic sounds when struck with a special mallet or rubbed along the rim. This sets the material of the bowl into vibration and creates sound waves. It is a deeply immersive experience, and the vibration of the singing bowls can heal various physiological and psychological ailments. It is believed that these soothing sounds and vibrations promote healing by reducing stress, enhancing meditation, and balancing the body’s energy centers, or chakras. Additionally, they dissolve energy blocks within the body.
The sound frequencies and vibrations of Tibetan and crystal singing bowls provide numerous psychological, physiological, and spiritual benefits.

Package prices
1 person / room:
129,900 HUF / PERSON
2 persons / room:
109,450 HUF / PERSON
The price includes:
2 NIGHTS ACCOMMODATION WITH BREAKFAST
2 LUNCHES, 2 DINNERS
5 SOUND BATHS
In the 3-day retreat package, we offer our unique and special sound bowl treatments at a significantly lower price. In the year 2026, the price for normal sound bowl treatments is 20,000 HUF / person per occasion. In the retreat package, we offer the same treatment at a price of 13,800 HUF / person.
Why is the price so different?
The Samsara Sanctuary with "Samsara" – the world's largest Guinness Record sound bowl – and the Shambhala Sanctuary with "Shambhala" – the giant Grotta Sonora gong – are frequently booked by our therapists; however, during the 3-day retreats, we have the opportunity to schedule these treatments for post-dinner slots. It is worth noting that an evening treatment followed by immediate relaxation is far superior to coming to Garáb for a daytime session and then having to drive an hour back home.
Fees for the 3-day retreat package:
Meals: The cost of meals is payable to Grabensia Kft. against an invoice, by credit card or bank transfer. The rate is 5,000 HUF / person / meal, totaling 20,000 HUF / person.
Accommodation: The accommodation fee is payable by bank transfer to a private owner based on a guest house rental agreement (the proof of payment is the rental agreement itself). The rate is 40,900 HUF / room / night. The room rate is the same for 1 or 2 persons. The room rate includes breakfast.
Sound baths: The fee for the sound baths is payable directly to the sound therapists. The sound therapists are small business taxpayers (KATA) and can only issue invoices to private individuals, not to companies. The rate is 69,000 HUF / person / 5 sound baths.
These rates are only valid when booking the complete package.
Yoga, Shudikaya treatments.
